Name and Brand Your Reports
What this helps you do: Give reports clear, recognizable names and add branding so they’re ready to share with clients, stakeholders, or executives.
Before you start
You must be creating or editing a Calendar report or Bill report.
How it works
The Name & Logo tab controls how your report is identified and branded.
This affects:
How the report appears in your saved reports list
How it looks when downloaded or shared
Name your report
A good report name makes it immediately clear what the report is and who it’s for.
Naming best practices
Include:
The audience or client
The purpose
(Optional) The cadence
Examples:
Client A – Weekly Calendar
Priority Bills – Status Update
Judiciary Committee – Upcoming Hearings
Clear names make reports easier to reuse and manage over time.
Add a logo
You can upload a logo to appear in downloaded and shared reports.
Logo options
Size: small, medium, or large
Position: left or right
Logos are optional but commonly used for client-facing reports.
When branding appears
Branding is visible when you:
Download the report (PDF, Word)
Share the report via link or embed
Branding does not affect filtering or scheduling.
Tips
Keep names short but descriptive.
Use consistent naming conventions across your team.
For internal reports, logos are optional and often unnecessary.
