Bill information is updated through several automated processes to provide timely alerts and summaries. Updates are delivered at different intervals depending on the type of change and your notification settings.

Key Update Frequencies

• Immediate Email Alerts: Receive an email right away for important bill updates, such as status changes or newly scheduled events.
• Mobile Push Notifications: Get alerts on your mobile device. The system checks for new updates to send every two minutes.
• Daily Summary Emails: Receive a summary of all bill updates from the last 24 hours. These are sent three times a day at 6 AM, 12 PM (Noon), and 6 PM Eastern Time, based on your settings.
• Daily System Updates: A process runs every day at 2 AM Eastern Time to update the legislative progress status for bills.

Pro Tips

• Not all changes trigger an immediate alert. Minor updates, such as the addition or removal of a co-sponsor, are included in daily summaries but do not generate an immediate notification.
