Show Only Filtered Bills vs Show All Bills
How to Control Bill Visibility in Dynamic Calendar Reports
What This Does
Control whether your Dynamic Calendar Report displays only bills matching your filters or all bills associated with the included calendar events. This allows you to create either a highly focused report or a comprehensive overview.
When You’d Use This
- Show only filtered bills: Use this to create a concise report focused on a specific subset of legislation, such as bills you have marked as
High Priority.
- Show all bills: Use this to understand the full context of a committee hearing or legislative day by seeing all bills on the agenda, even those that don't match your primary filters.
How To Do It
- Navigate to the Organize & Sort section when creating or editing a Dynamic Calendar Report.
- Click the Bill Visibility dropdown menu.
- Select one of the two options:
- Show only filtered bills
- Show all bills
What Happens Next
- If you select Show only filtered bills, the generated report will only contain bills that meet the filter criteria you have set.
- If you select Show all bills, the report will include all bills associated with the calendar events. A new dropdown menu, Bill Details, will appear below.
Pro Tips
- When showing all bills, use the Bill Details dropdown to manage the level of information displayed for bills that do not match your filters.
- You can select Show full details to see all information for every bill or choose Show partial info for unfiltered bills to keep the report focused on your primary interests.
